We know that the internet is awash with places for you to get your sporting fix but below we acknowledge  some of the websites that we think routinely publish consistently great sports writing. The Blizzard - a writers' co-operative publication edited by Jonathan Wilson specialising in long-form journalism about football. Well worth whatever you decide to pay for it.

Football365 - UK-based website with an irreverent take on the world of football (with a focus on the English Premier League)

Grantland - American sport and pop culture collide on this Bill Simmons brainchild. Not only does Simmons make regular contributions himself, we reckon some of the other writers aren't half bad either.
